Office Based Business Development Manager – Chorley

Salary:
Circa £32k plus bonus.

Are you ambitious, driven, and ready to accelerate your career? Our award‑winning client is looking for energetic, conscientious individuals to join a high‑performing team. This isn't a typical 9‑to‑5 role; you'll be part of a journey that rewards hard work, embraces challenges, and celebrates success.

Who we’re looking for

Attitude and energy matter more than age or experience. No sector experience? No problem – our client provides full training. Resilient, ambitious, and target‑driven individuals who thrive on results.

The role

As a Business Development Manager, you'll drive growth through high‑volume outbound calls to pre‑qualified leads, turning cold contacts into warm opportunities and long‑term relationships. You'll collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams, attend client meetings and networking events across the UK, and contribute insights to shape business strategy.

Key responsibilities
  • Make outbound calls to generate and qualify leads.
  • Follow up promptly to maximise conversion into opportunities and sales.
  • Work with teams to manage enquiries, assign opportunities, and refine messaging.
  • Represent the business at meetings, events, and industry functions.
  • Track KPIs, report outcomes, and provide market insights.
What we value
  • Confidence, charisma, and relationship‑building skills.
  • Self‑motivation, organisation, and discipline.
  • Clear, persuasive communication and presentation abilities.
  • Ambition, commercial awareness, and a problem‑solving mindset.
  • Teamwork and collaboration across functions.
What’s on offer
  • Full training and ongoing support.
  • Clear career progression pathways.
  • Performance‑based financial rewards and bonuses.
  • Travel opportunities in the UK and abroad.
  • A dynamic, supportive team culture.
  • Participation in charity and team‑building activities.
  • Salary: £32k per year + bonus.
  • Working hours:

Monday to Thursday 8:30 am–5 pm and Friday 8:30 am–4 pm.
Benefits
  • 25 days' annual leave plus bank holidays, plus your birthday off.
  • The option to request additional holidays.
  • 10 % employer pension contribution.
  • Free parking.
  • Gym memberships.
  • Access to employee discounts.
  • Flexible start and finish times.
  • Healthcare schemes.
  • Subsidised lunches.
  • Clear career development and progression opportunities.
  • Performance‑based rewards.
  • A high‑performing, driven team culture.
  • The chance to be part of an ambitious and growing organisation.

This is not a role for the faint‑hearted, but for the right person, it's an extraordinary opportunity to be part of something special. If you're driven, enthusiastic, and results‑focused, we want to hear from you.
