Retail Security Officer – Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services – M&S Lancaster. Hourly rate: £12.76. 40+ hours per week, permanent. Shift pattern: 4 on 4 off. Must have 5 years trackable working history in the UK and a valid SIA licence.
Responsibilities- Safeguard M&S stores, people, and assets while delivering outstanding customer service.
- Use body‑worn cameras and mobile devices to report incidents.
- Follow all policies, legal requirements, and assignment instructions.
- Maintain alertness to hazards and remain vigilant.
- Handle challenging situations with calm and professionalism.
- Contact emergency services when needed.
- Essential: experience in security.
- Valid SIA licence.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, energy and enthusiasm.
- £12.76 per hour with benefits such as 20% M&S discount (T&C apply), Save As You Earn, share incentive plan, cycle‑to‑work, life assurance, and childcare vouchers.
- Company‑funded SIA licence renewal and continuous training.
