Social Worker | Fixed Term, Full time | Adult Safeguarding | Countywide, Lancashire
Salary £36,363 - £40,778 per annum | 37 hours per week – Fixed term, Full time – Adult Safeguarding – Countywide, Lancashire.
Location:
Office base County Hall – travel to West, Central and North of Lancashire.
We are recruiting a compassionate, driven Social Worker to support people achieve independent living in Lancashire. The position is part of the Adult Services Safeguarding Adults Service.
Responsibilities include:
- You will lead and coordinate Safeguarding Enquiries within a fast‑paced, supportive specialist team.
- Work with adults aged 18 or over who are at risk of, or experiencing, abuse or neglect.
- Make Safeguarding Personal, ensuring the person or their representative is actively involved and empowered throughout the enquiry, while working in a strengths‑based way to reduce risks and achieve desired outcomes.

Qualifications and experience:
- Registered with Social Work England (SWE) or applied to register.
- Experience in safeguarding adults and working with adults with care and support needs.

Social Work applicants must be registered with Social Work England (SWE) to be appointed as a Social Worker, or be in the process of registration.
