Dover Fueling Solutions is looking for a Graduate Data Engineer to join our growing team in Skelmersdale. You will work as part of a large agile Software Development team incorporating Data Architects, Software Developers, Product Owners, Data Engineers, and Software Testers to deliver world‑leading products to our customers.

We track fuel consumption on petrol stations from delivery to sale. We collect data from thousands of stations in real time, load it into our systems, and run it through complex algorithms that help our customers make decisions and drive actions.

As part of our engineering team you will design, build, and test cloud‑based data pipelines and applications. You will collaborate with Data Architects, Product Owners, and other engineers to deliver robust, efficient, and production‑ready solutions. You will also participate in Dev Ops practices, CI/CD pipelines, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Good knowledge and experience in RDBMS and data modelling with Python, Oracle, SQL or Azure.
• Experience designing and building scalable data pipelines, working with distributed Big Data systems, and delivering cloud‑based solutions.
• Familiarity with Dev Ops and CI/CD tools.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure preferred, but another cloud platform and a genuine desire to learn is equally valued.
• Knowledge of C#.Net and experience with automated testing or data quality frameworks desirable but not essential.
