Site Manager | Structural Steel & Engineering
Location:
Lancaster, UK

Compensation: £60,000 + Benefits

Key Responsibilities- Oversee daily site operations including steel erection and cladding
- Coordinate labour, subcontractors, plant, and materials
- Ensure safe, compliant, and timely delivery of all works
- Carry out inductions, toolbox talks, RAMS checks, and safety audits
- Maintain accurate site records and report progress
- Liaise with project managers, engineers, and clients
- Proven experience managing structural steel or heavy engineering sites
- Strong knowledge of steel erection, H&S compliance, and site procedures
- SMSTS and CSCS (Manager level)
- Ability to interpret drawings and lead site teams effectively
- Full driving licence
