At East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust, we invite applications for the Assistant Finance Business Partner role. This position offers a key role within the operational divisional management team and contributes to the finance directorate of University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing information and senior support to the Finance Business Partner/Deputy Finance Business Partner to ensure timely, accurate and relevant income, expenditure and activity reports and ad hoc analyses are produced.
• Developing and maintaining the general ledger and other financial reporting systems, carrying out monthly tasks, system maintenance and ad hoc problem solving to ensure smooth and accurate running of the ledger system.

Our operations span three main hospitals:
Furness General Hospital (FGH) in Barrow, the Royal Lancaster Infirmary (RLI), and Westmorland General Hospital (WGH) in Kendal. In addition, we provide community healthcare services across Morecambe Bay, including Millom Hospital, GP Practice, Queen Victoria Hospital in Morecambe, and Ulverston Community Health Centre.

All three hospitals offer planned care (outpatients, diagnostics, therapies, day case and inpatient surgery), urgent and emergency services, and a range of community outreach services and diagnostics.
