Adele Carr Recruitment is proud to be partnering with a well-established and growing accountancy and advisory firm to recruit an experienced Tax Associate / Tax Senior to join their expanding personal tax team.
This role offers the opportunity to work closely with a varied client portfolio, including high-net-worth individuals, owner-managed businesses, and professionals, while developing both technical expertise and client-facing skills within a supportive environment.
The Role
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality personal tax compliance and advisory services, while also supporting and mentoring junior team members.
Key responsibilities include:
Preparing and submitting personal tax returns for a diverse client base
Reviewing tax work completed by junior colleagues to ensure accuracy and compliance
Providing guidance, coaching, and technical support to junior staff
Advising on personal tax matters including capital gains tax, inheritance tax, and residency
Building and maintaining strong client relationships and acting as a trusted adviser
Identifying opportunities to provide additional advisory support
Ensuring deadlines are met and work is completed in line with HMRC requirements
About You
ATT qualified as a minimum (CTA or equivalent experience advantageous)
Strong background in personal tax gained within practice
Experience managing a client portfolio and reviewing work
Excellent attention to detail and a high standard of technical accuracy
Confident communicator with strong organisational and time-management skills
