Do you have vehicle title work experience and are in search of a long‑term career with a growing organization? If so, this position may be the right fit for you! We are searching for an individual who is motivated by researching and resolving issues in a high‑volume environment. The ideal candidate will be dependable, courteous, professional, and have a positive attitude.
Individual must have reliable transportation with the ability to work on‑site. Initial and supplemental training will be completed at a training center in Lancaster, SC or Rock Hill, SC.
- Serve as an Administrator for the eTitle software to monitor incoming titles and request VIN research from all states using ELT.
- Manage eTitle dashboards to accept or reject titles, correct title errors, and follow up on titles not received. Requires research capabilities and attention to detail.
- Answer member and branch personnel title‑related questions accurately and courteously through a high‑volume call queue.
- Resolve titling issues by working with FFCU employees and members, as well as Departments of Motor Vehicle and other third parties.
- Maintain knowledge of current DMV laws and regulations related to vehicle registration and titling for all states.
- Send all title work to the DMV and maintain records of title work sent with associated tracking numbers. Returned title work will need to be corrected and follow‑up performed with the Member, Processor, or dealership if required.
- Assist Consumer Loan Processors with maintaining copies of title work in Onbase.
- Research accounts on the Vehicle Title report to resolve titles in suspense, requiring continuous follow‑up until a title has been received.
- Communicate with all levels of management to explain title issues and offer advice on how to resolve them.
- Contact members regarding Title‑Only process once title received.
- Ensure compliance with applicable statutes and regulations including, but not limited to, BSA.
- Assist team lead and training department with preparing and presenting refresher training to branch personnel.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
The Consumer Loan Title Clerk must possess excellent oral and written communication skills as well as organizational skills. The candidate must have the ability to obtain a working knowledge of FFCU loan policy, procedures, and regulations. A minimum of two years prior loan processing, vehicle title work experience, or loan‑related experience is required. The candidate must understand and adhere to vehicle registration laws and procedures.
Additionally, the candidate must be motivated and able to work in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
Applicants must be available Monday‑Thursday, 8 am‑5 pm;
Friday 8 am‑6 pm. The position can be located at either our Corporate Headquarters in Lancaster, SC, or our Rock Hill Center in Rock Hill, SC. Remote work is not available.
