The successful applicant will work closely with the partners and others in the management team to ensure that Bentham continues to offer thevery best level of service to its patients, is highly rated by the CQC,maximises profitability through QOF and enhanced services, has a clear business plan for the future and continues to strengthen the professionalism, learning,motivation and team spirit of all staff.

Key ideal requirements include:
Experience in a similar, senior management role, ideally in the NHS but not critical.
Managerial experience of top rate customer care, performance management, finances, HR, team building, estates management, legal issues.
Professionally qualified.

About usBentham Medical Practice is in a beautiful rural area set between the Yorkshire Dales National Park, the Lake District and the Forest of Bowland. We have a main practice in High Bentham and a branch practice in Ingleton.
We have a list size of 7500, four partners, three salaried
GPs, an ACP, three nurses, two HCAs, and about 30 admin and other related staff. We are a dispensing practice and members of the Western Dales Primary Care Network and Lancashire and South Lakes Integrated Care Board.
A Practice Manager oversees the administrative and business functions of a medical practice. Their day-to-day duties and responsibilities include:
- Overseeing daily operations of the practice
- Recruiting, training and supervising administrative staff such as medical secretaries and receptionists
- Organising duty rotas for medical and administrative staff
- Setting goals and ensuring the practice achieves its financial objectives
- Overseeing finances, including budgets, billing and payroll
- Monitoring inventory and ordering new stocks of medication supplies and medical equipment
- Managing patient records and IT systems and addressing customer complaints or concerns
- Enforcing industry and health and safety regulations
- Ensuring office is opened and closed daily, as per established schedules
- Record of senior management experience
- Experience in primary care
- Educated to GCSE standard
- Degree
