Meyer Utility Structures, a proud subsidiary of Arcosa, Inc., is searching for a Shipping/Receiving Lead for our Lancaster, SC plant. The role involves processing, receiving, recording, storing, and shipping raw materials and finished goods, operating mobile equipment (heavy equipment, forklift, cranes, yard vehicle, lift truck) to move materials/products between warehouse and manufacturing facilities. The lead ensures daily assignments are completed accurately, on time, and safely, and leads by example with integrity and safety focus.

• Operate 15,000-pound or heavier forklifts and cranes
• Operate track mobile equipment
• Unload and load shipments as requested
• Pull product for order fulfillment
• Move product within yard
• Review receipt of materials to ensure correctness
• Ensure security and accountability of materials
• Pack goods loaded according to documentation and bills of lading
• Follow all safety rules and practices
• Lead team by assigning tasks
• Assist in task completion to meet deadlines
• Train and ensure safety of team members

• High school diploma or GED
• Basic computer skills (Word, Outlook, Excel)
• Prefer minimum one year related experience and/or training
• Solution‑based problem solving
• Can‑do attitude and strong work ethic
• Leadership approach to supporting individual and team initiatives
• Effective multitasking ability

• 8 to 12 hours of sitting, standing, walking, and squatting
• Ability to carry up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work in an industrial welding facility environment (with appropriate PPE)
• Exposure to magnetic fields in plant facility
• Exposure to climate and weather aspects
