About Yourself
You are a graduate from a certified program covering Civil or Mechanical Engineering. You should be able to speak English and Hindi. You should be capable of working in a 3D model sharing environment. Knowledge of software such as Tekla Structures, Bocad, Catia or Cadworks is an asset, but not mandatory. Knowledge of Steel Detailing is also an asset, but not mandatory.
You are proficient in reading structural and architectural drawings, have strong math skills and are capable of producing RFI’s and incorporating responses as required.
About The Position
You will have the opportunity to grow into areas of larger responsibility based on your aptitude and interest. You will be introduced to the growing Mass Timber modeling and detailing industry. You will work in project teams and be mentored by Senior Dowco staff to develop your skills and industry knowledge. If you are receptive to learn and apply new methods, Dowco is the company for you.
Successful applicants will be trained by representatives from Dowco’s Canadian head office.
