Position: Seeking to Hire a Senior Corporate Paralegal to work in Leading Large Service Law Firm’s Office
Our client is one of Western Canada’s largest full-service law firms with locations conveniently located in downtown Vancouver, and Langley. They seeking a senior corporate paralegal to work full-time based in their Langley office. This role requires an individual who is organized, effective at multi-tasking and detail oriented, with strong communication and people skills.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Drafting corporate legal documentation including incorporations, amendments, amalgamations, continuances, dissolutions, corporate and tax reorganizations, various share transactions, extra provincial registrations, various types of dividend transactions, name changes, restorations and other documents as requiredMentoring, training and coaching Corporate Services staff membersCorresponding with lawyers and clients to receive and confirm instructionsConducting minute book reviews and fixing deficiencies as requiredPreparing closing agendasActing as point of contact for corporate client inquiriesOther administrative duties as requiredExperience and Qualifications:
10+ years of experience as a Paralegal in a busy corporate practice3+ years of training and management experienceA Paralegal Certificate or Diploma from an accredited post-secondary institutionUnderstanding of BC Online, ALF, iManage, Outlook and WordStrong organizational skills and attention to detailExcellent oral and written communication skillsAbility to handle a high volume of work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work independently and in a team environmentThe typical salary range for this position is $,00 – $,.
