The Role
We are looking for a Industrial Safety Trainer to join our team in the Langley area to grow and deliver Hercules approved industrial safety training programs throughout British Columbia.

The Industrial Safety Trainer will be responsible to facilitate training programs for both external and internal customers and to work directly with the local sales team to help build training opportunities. Training programs include Rigging, Overhead Crane, Working at Heights, Forklift Operator, Elevated Work Platform, and Confined Space Entry.
Accountabilities
Prepare and deliver professional training programs in accordance with company lesson plans and regulatory requirementsEffectively schedule training time, Maintain inventory of training aids and equipmentWork directly with local sales team to help grow training opportunities and clientele. May include making cold calls, email connections, site visits with local sales teamPreparing quotes for trainingCompleting training records accuratelyDeliver training programs to the Hercules standards to clientsRequired knowledge and training
Post secondary education – in health and safety or other related field or equivalent experience3-5 years experience in an adult training/learning rolePrior operating overhead crane and rigging experience is considered like an assetStrong communication skills written and spoken (English)Comfortable training over multiple platforms including in person and virtualStrong computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite with an emphasis on PPTStrong organizational and time management skillsMust hold a valid drivers licence for the province of BCMust have a personal vehicle available for travel within the provinceTravel outside of BC may be required (all expenses paid by the company)Must be legally entitled to work in CanadaThe Hercules Group of Companies is a privately owned Canadian company, headquartered in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia; it is comprised of six distinct companies—Hercules Cranes and Lifting Supplies, Spartan Industrial Marine, Stellar Industrial Sales, Wire Rope Industries Atlantic and Atlantic Crane & Material Handling—with Hercules Machining & Millwright Services as a division of Hercules Cranes and Lifting Supplies.
