Bison Drivers are paid every week, on time! This position requires you to be on the road 7 to 14 days at a time, averaging 10,000 to 12,000 miles per month, available for dispatch 24 days a month. Resets on the road as required. Running open-board, Canada/U.S. long-haul
Southbound freight could depart from any of our Bison locations into any of the lower 48 statesNorthbound freight could go into any of the Canadian Provinces and TerritoriesMust be able to drive to Alaska if required 12 months a yearRequired to drive in B.C. including Highway 1 and Highway 3, 12 months a yearAdditional work might be available upon requestFlexible schedules requiring weekend departuresRegional freight will be requiredMust be able to haul all commodities including meat and alcoholAssigned unitCandidate Profile:
Company Driver with 24 months tractor-trailer experienceMust have a valid Class 1/AZ licenseMust be U.S. qualifiedMust have a minimum of 6 months U.S. driving experienceMust have a minimum of 6 months B.C. Mountain experienceMust be eligible for a FAST cardMust be able to work weekendsMust be able to lift 50 lbs. or more, Driver assist is required on occasionReliable, flexible, and punctualStrong communication skillsValues safetyAre you registered with the Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse?
