Weighbridge Operator

Tillicoultry Quarries is a successful and fast‑growing family‑owned quarrying company and major supplier of aggregates, asphalt, ready‑mixed concrete, mortar, render and sports sand to the building and road construction industry. We operate in over 35 sites throughout Central Scotland, the North East of England and East Anglia.

We are looking for a Trainee Weighbridge Operator to join our Northfield Quarry. The successful candidate will be customer‑focused, reliable, well‑organised and able to work well as part of a team in a busy site environment.

• Operate the weighbridge and match and file weighbridge tickets.
• Deal with general customer enquiries, such as orders and deliveries.
• Assist with scheduling in line with customer delivery requirements.
• Perform general office administration tasks, including filing, data input, checking and responding to emails.

• Be prepared to progress and develop within our business through training and gaining qualifications.
• Have a willingness to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Be willing to work regular overtime to meet the needs of the business and have a flexible approach to working hours.
• Hold a full driving licence.
