- Perform maintenance, upgrades, patching, and restoration beyond squadron capability using administrative access to the MDM console, Fore Flight administration, and EUSA local administrator accounts.
- Administer the device fleet in Black Berry Unified Endpoint Management or the designated successor MDM. Add and remove accounts, track lost or stolen devices, and audit unit compliance.
- Manage the Fore Flight administration account and train squadron EFB managers on configuration for worldwide FLIP use.
- Coordinate commercial internet service for EFB connectivity, relay connectivity problems to the ISP, schedule service calls, and escort technicians through base facilities when required.
- Establish sustainment cost and inventory requirements with the Resource Advisor for EUSA computers, battery extenders, touch-screen gloves, charging systems, faraday bags, lithium fire-bag kits, mounts, cases, and cables. Report these requirements in the annual group budget.
- Maintain accountability as equipment custodian for all Operations Group EFB equipment. Inventory and enroll hardware-refresh devices in the AFGSC Device Enrollment Program and MDM before use, and decommission obsolete equipment through ITEC and DRMO.
- Identify and elevate EFB requirements to leadership and AFGSC/A3T. Watch iOS and technology releases and maintain an obsolescence mitigation plan.
- Use the Microsoft Teams EFB Program Manager site and SharePoint to track announcements, manage user profiles, and assign training to new EFB managers.
- Generate the EFB Audit Report and EFB Sustainment Report, and perform…
