Cyber Security Analyst

Responsibilities

• Monitor organizational networks and systems continuously to detect and respond to potential security threats and vulnerabilities
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and risk analysis to strengthen system defenses
• Implement and maintain security controls, policies, and procedures aligned with industry standards
• Investigate and respond to security incidents, ensuring timely resolution and minimal business impact
• Analyze logs, alerts, and security events using SIEM tools to identify suspicious activities
• Collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure secure system architecture and design
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards such as ISO, NIST, and other cybersecurity frameworks
• Develop and maintain incident response plans and disaster recovery strategies
• Perform security audits and recommend improvements to enhance overall system security posture
• Educate employees on security best practices and promote awareness across the organization
• Manage firewall configurations, intrusion detection systems, and endpoint security solutions
• Track emerging cyber threats and proactively implement countermeasures
• Maintain detailed documentation of security incidents, procedures, and mitigation steps
• Assist in implementing identity and access management solutions
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen cybersecurity resilience
