Travel RN - Med​/Surg Tele

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a night shift assignment requiring telemetry experience and a PA or compact RN license.

• Active PA or Compact RN license
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• 1:6 patient ratio experience required
• Cerner charting experience preferred

• Work in the MS/Tele unit of a hospital setting
• Telemetry patient population
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours (18:45-07:15)
• Weekend coverage required every other week
• Floating required within the hospital and to sister facilities within a 10-mile radius if needed
• Provide nursing care to telemetry patients on a Med/Surg unit
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Candidates must be willing to work every other holiday
• Must reside over 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for consideration
• Local candidates not accepted
• Former permanent employees must have been separated for at least 2 years before returning through an agency
• Travelers who complete a cumulative year of assignments within the health system must take a two-year break before becoming eligible to return
• Travel pairs may be accepted based on facility need, though matching schedules cannot be guaranteed
• Fingerprinting, drug screen, and required labs must be completed within 24-48 hours of signing
