• Support the drafting of BAT Conclusions.
• Liaise with Technical Working Groups and present a final document suitable for publication as a new UK-wide environmental standard for industry.
• Coordinate the work of technical authors.
• Use smart tools to stay connected and reduce travel (some travel and overnight stays may be required).
• Maintain an inclusive incident‑management objective and seek an incident role that suits your needs.

• At least 5 years working experience with a solid understanding of environmental regulation across industrial sectors.
• Strong understanding of UK and EU industrial environmental legislation, including the IED and the Environmental Permitting Regulations.
• Experience coordinating and reviewing the publication of technical documents.
• Understanding of the implications of BAT Conclusions in permits, on industry and the environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Planning, prioritising and organising tasks and resources to ensure timely and effective results.
• Ability to respond flexibly to challenges and build consensus.
• Experience in technical analysis of complex industrial data.
• Ability to work effectively with people from different backgrounds and cultures, encouraging diversity issues.
