Job DescriptionWe are looking for an energetic and dynamic person to join the E&B Systems Team. This is a permanent role and is within our development team. The role will give you the opportunity to experience a wide variety of work and develop widely transferable skills. They focus on the support and delivery of technical digital solutions to address business problems and to support major digital transformation.
We want someone to understand how digital tools can help our regulatory work and how we can build and support develop solutions to help our staff in their front-line work.
We are looking for a flexible individual who manages themselves and able to lead on technical development areas and solutions. The team focusses on regulatory services and technical solutions, focusing on how these services support the work of the Environment Agency. We are looking for a flexible individual who manages themselves and who are comfortable working in dispersed project groups.

Experience / skills requiredYou should have skills in digital product management or be an experienced environment practitioner. You should be comfortable with tools such as Power Platform, Sharepoint, DCP (Document Core Pack), Canvas Apps, Microsoft Access and have the capability of application configuration. You will be skilled in addressing the needs of internal and external customers. You will have a good understanding of business problems and the challenges faced by staff and be able to think innovatively to develop solutions.
The successful person will be able to demonstrate strong technical skills. Key to this is developing strong partnerships with staff that will work alongside us to deliver great outcomes. You will need strong technical skills and an ability to convey that understanding to non technical clients. You will need to be skilled in collaborating with customers, and developing and sustaining partner relationships is vital.
