SALARY: £46,000 to £48,000 per annum + Operational Excellence Bonus of up to £1.50 per hour + Paid Overtime + Benefits

LOCATION: Launceston, Cornwall, South West England

JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent

WORKING HOURS: 4 shifts per week on a rotational basis Monday to Friday

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a LGV Class 1 Driver within a successful and expanding logistics operation. As a LGV Class 1 Driver you will enjoy independence on the open road for long stretches but will be home again at the end of every shift.

As a LGV Class 1 Driver you will ensure safe and reliable transportation while complying with Road Transport Laws. You’ll benefit from modern vehicles, structured training and opportunities to develop new skills.

• Vehicle Safety Checks:
  Conduct daily vehicle and trailer inspections
• Night Trunking:
  Transport freight safely and efficiently during night shifts
• Road Compliance:
  Follow Road Transport Laws and maintain safe driving practices
• Documentation:
  Complete accurate defect reports when required
• Operational Standards:
  Support high standards of operational excellence across the team
• Professional Driving:
  Represent the organisation positively through safe, considerate driving

• Proven experience of driving large goods vehicles
• Class 1 driving licence
• Driver CPC qualification card
• Experience with road safety procedures and transport law
• A positive, proactive and professional attitude
