Our client is a growing Fabless Semiconductor company, who are fast becoming a leader in high-speed, energy-efficient chip-to-chip link solutions, they are on a mission to shape the future of electronics—continuously evolving to meet the needs of today and anticipating those of tomorrow.
They are looking for an experienced Integrity Engineer to join their team in Lausanne.
Responsibilities- Partner with code technology developers and product teams to provide guidance on SI challenges and solutions for new and existing technologies.
- Collaborate with circuit designers to support SI considerations for silicon implementations.
- Contribute to standards activities (IEEE, OIF, memory) by providing high-speed signaling analysis and technical insights.
- Work closely with customers and component suppliers to support hardware development, analysis, and optimization.
- Perform theoretical and simulation-driven signal integrity assessments for products, test structures, and hardware systems.
- Prepare detailed technical reports and analyses for both internal teams and external customers.
- Evaluate SI performance of encoding systems and compare results to alternative modulation methods (e.g., PAM4, PAM8).
- Support package and evaluation board development through SI/PI/power design collaboration with chip and circuit designers.
- Conduct SI/PI/power validation, including simulation-to-measurement correlation.
- Develop design specifications, simulation documentation, debug reports, and validation test plans.
- 5+ years of experience in the semiconductor industry.
- Strong foundation in microwave, analog, power, and digital electronics.
- Demonstrated leadership experience within SI/PI teams, including mentoring junior engineers.
- Proactive team player with a fast learning curve and a passion for continuous improvement.
- Strong understanding of signal integrity and power integrity design and simulation principles.
- Proficiency in scripting/programming languages, including MATLAB.
- Comfortable working in Linux-based IC design environments; experience with Cadence Virtuoso is a plus.
- Hands‑on experience with industry‑standard SI/PI simulation tools.
