Consultant – Formulation Microparticle Development; PLGA; HFX

International consulting group founded in 2019 Ekkiden fosters an ecosystem of passionate and committed consultants who lead organizational operational and technological transformation projects in IT / Digital Industry / R&D and Sustainability for large corporations and SMEs in France Switzerland Spain and Germany.

As part of the development of new subcutaneous injectable microparticle-based products we are looking for someone to strengthen the R&D team.

This project is part of an international dynamic :

Analytical development activities outsourced to the Netherlands

Process laboratory located in Switzerland with teams in Berlin

Integration planned for January 2026 with an expanded team in Copenhagen.

The goal is to consolidate resources to accelerate formulation development and reach the next industrial milestones.

As a Formulation / Development Consultant you will join the technical team to :

• Contribute to the development of new PLGA-based products (powders microparticles injectable microspheres).
• Participate in the setup and optimization of manufacturing processes.
• Work closely with the current development lead (15 years of experience) on product formulation and characterization.
• Ensure knowledge transfer between different sites.
• Provide scientific and technical support to external partners (labs analytical consultants packaging specialists).
• Contribute to drafting technical documentation (protocols reports specifications).

• Advanced degree in chemistry pharmaceutics galenics or biotechnology (Masters / PhD).
• 610 years of experience in developing microparticle formulations based on PLGA or similar biodegradable polymers.
• Strong skills in pharmaceutical formulation process development and injectable product characterization.
• Good understanding of analytical aspects and primary packaging.
• Experience in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology environment.
• Fluent in English;
  French or German is a plus.
• Occasional travel possible to Copenhagen or Berlin.
