My client a global organization currently seek a talent Maintenance Specialist within Lab Equipment to join on an initial 12 month contract. The role involves preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, calibration, and coordination with external suppliers to support laboratory operations in a regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Schedule and perform preventive maintenance of laboratory equipment.
• Coordinate maintenance interventions with external suppliers and internal users.
• Diagnose equipment issues and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct calibration, adjustment, cleaning, and verification operations.
• Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities in SAP or equivalent systems.
• Monitor and manage spare parts inventory.
• Ensure compliance of maintenance activities with quality and EHS standards.
• Provide technical support, guidance, and training to laboratory users.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for maintenance processes and equipment reliability.

Required

Experience and Skills:

• Previous experience in GxP-regulated environments and pharmaceutical laboratories.
• Practical knowledge of mechanical and electromechanical components of laboratory equipment.
• Experience in controlled or classified laboratory environments.
• Familiarity with documentation systems, deviations, and equipment logbooks in a regulated setting.
• Experience with laboratory equipment used for monoclonal antibody development or production is an advantage.
• Knowledge of USP and DSP equipment and operations is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
