My client is looking for an experienced IC Validation Engineer to join their growing hardware team, focusing on system-level validation of high-speed digital integrated circuits. You will be responsible for developing, executing, and automating validation plans to ensure our ICs meet performance, interoperability, and compliance requirements for next-generation connectivity standards.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on advanced digital designs and high-speed interfaces, collaborating closely with design, software, and applications engineering teams.

• Perform system and protocol validation of high-speed ICs using compliance tools, data exercisers, analyzers, and automated test suites
• Execute post-silicon validation, including bring-up, debug, and performance characterization
• Validate high-speed serial interfaces such as Ser Des, USB3, USB4, PCIe, or other related communication protocols
• Conduct interoperability and compliance testing with industry-standard platforms and equipment
• Work with lab instrumentation (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, BERTs, pattern generators) to measure and analyse high-speed signals
• Debug and characterize digital subsystems at the IC and PCB level.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on validation strategy, test plan development, and issue resolution
• Support DDRx memory validation and contribute to test automation infrastructure

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Physics, or a related discipline
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in IC or system validation, digital design, or hardware testing
• Hands-on experience with high-speed digital protocols (e.g., USB, PCIe, Ser Des, or similar)
• Proven ability to use lab and debug equipment for measurement and validation of high-speed signals
• Solid understanding of digital architectures, clocking, and signal integrity principles
• Experience in DDRx memory validation and interoperability testing
• Familiarity with test standards, validation specifications, and equipment vendor tools
• Experience with embedded software or firmware validation would be an advantage
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a proactive and methodical approach to problem-solving
