Trainee in Pharmacokinetics

About the Role

AC Immune's DMPK team is looking for a trainee to support the profiling of SME compounds based on Pharmacokinetic properties. The project involves setting up the compounds at the CRO for various PK studies and accompanying assays determined in the screening cascade and receiving the results, reviewing and preparing the data summary. The work will be done under the supervision of the Research Scientist – PK.

Tasks include data processing, maintaining the databases and preparation of summary presentations and reports.

Responsibilities

• Review the status of compound requests and propose appropriate PK protocols through regular discussion with the reporting line manager.
• Communicate with external CROs for the management of outsourced PK studies.
• Upon receipt of results, review, prepare the summary of the data and discuss conclusions and next steps with the reporting line manager in regular manner.
• Communicate the results and conclusions to the team.
• Prepare summary presentations and reports.
• Maintain the databases up to date (compounds tracing and data tracking).

Qualifications

• Last year of a master/engineer’s degree in Biology or Pharmacology.
• Comfortable with basic presentation and report writing.
• Good spoken and written English.
