Training schedule:
First 2 months training, between March 2
-May 4th, your schedule will be 21 hours/week as follows:
Tuesday: 3pm to 8pm
Thursday: 4pm to 8pm
Friday: 4pm to 8pm
Saturday: 8am to 5pm
Following 2 months training, between May 4th
-July 4th, your schedule will be 35 hours/week, Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm.
Regular schedule :
Starting July 4th until the end of August a full-time schedule is offered with 32hours / week, including weeks and evening shifts
For students who are back in school, you will need to work a minimum of 21hrs a week including Saturdays, stat holidays and evening shifts ending at 8pm; we will work with your school schedule to determine working hours
After training, in-office requirement is 1 day in office
At belairdirect, you will benefit from a hybrid work model that will allow you to reconcile work and family and you will be based in our Laval office (600 Rue Lucien-Paiement).

What you'll do here:
Play a key role in ensuring the best possible protection of our customers' most valuable assets by advising them to make informed choices and answering their product questions and advising on next steps.
Analyze customer needs, promote products and services and propose innovative choices and solutions.
Guide auto and home customers on insurance solutions.
Contribute to the development and support of new initiatives.
What you bring to the table
:
At least 1 year of experience in a similar role
A real team player, that can collaborate with colleagues on various projects, but also comfortable to work independently.
A natural communicator and understand how to listen and empathize with others.
You must speak French - Requires answering calls and providing service to a French-speaking clientele on a regular basis
Customer-driven and eager to your developed advisory skills to help customers.
Ability to multi-task and stay cool under pressure.
Excellent computer skills and can juggle between different computer at the same time.
Willingness to complete the provincial exam to obtain your insurance license.
No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
Please note that this is an inbound call centre position, and we are looking for candidates who are comfortable with working evenings, Saturdays and occasional Statutory holidays. We are happy to offer a day-shift schedule after your first year in the role.
In Quebec, our agents must pass their AMF certification to practice the profession. To be considered for our training course, you must meet one of the following requirements:
You have obtained a College Diploma, a Bachelor or a Master's degree; OR
You have obtained an Attestation of Collegial Studies in Damage Insurance; OR
You hold a Secondary Diploma AND have 3 years of full-time experience in the Canadian job market;
If your diplomas were obtained outside Canada, you will be asked for an equivalence of these diplomas.
