Materials/Geotechnical Engineering Laboratory Technician

Our Laval office is currently looking for a Materials/Geotechnical Engineering Laboratory Technician to ensure smooth operations in the department for soils, concrete, and general materials. The role involves working closely with the laboratory manager to maintain safety standards, manage deliveries and samples, perform laboratory tests, and maintain equipment and work environment.

• Report to the laboratory manager.
• Comply with current safety standards.
• Receive deliveries, sample and record them.
• Ensure sample compliance upon receipt.
• Manage storage and disposal of samples.
• Maintain premises, equipment, and safe working environment.
• Perform some laboratory tests.
• Carry out calibrations of field and laboratory equipment.
• Operate forklift as needed.

• Strong interest in working in a laboratory.
• High School Diploma (Secondary
  5) or equivalent.
• Relevant experience related to the position is an asset.
• Computer literacy.
• Proficiency in French (spoken and written).
