Associate Scientist, Laboratory Operations

IQVIA Laboratories invites applications for an Associate Scientist role in the Laboratory Operations team at our Laval, Quebec, Canada location. This position plays a key role in executing and documenting laboratory testing procedures while ensuring compliance with SOPs and regulatory guidelines.

• Conduct and document routine laboratory testing procedures in line with SOPs and regulatory standards.
• Analyze data to verify procedures are on track and results fall within acceptable ranges.
• Identify, document, and escalating potential performance issues or unusual results.
• Prepare and upload data analysis results to the LIMS system.
• Assist with quality investigations, deviations, and resolutions.
• Prepare necessary solutions and buffers for analysis.
• Perform calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment.

• Bachelor’s degree in biological sciences or related field (equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be accepted).
• Minimum of 6 months experience in a regulated laboratory environment.
• Knowledge of laboratory techniques, Good Laboratory Practice (GLP), and regulatory standards.
• Working knowledge of GCP, laboratory safety, infection control procedures, and hazardous chemical handling.
• Experience with automation and specialized laboratory equipment.
• Proficiency in laboratory calculations, quality control metrics and strong computer, multitasking and collaboration skills.
• Bilingual French and English (functional written and spoken English required).
