Job Description:
Would you like to apply your expertise in qualification and validation project management to a revolutionary and innovative project? As a Maintenance Technician, you will contribute to validation in accordance with project plans, schedules, and objectives, while playing a key role in drafting procedures and protocols.
- Operate and monitor the building’s mechanical and utility systems (BAS, HVAC, purified water, WFI, compressed air, etc.).
- Diagnose, inspect, and repair production equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and utility systems.
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise work performed by external contractors.
- Provide technical support to the production team and employees.
- Complete pharmaceutical documentation in accordance with standards.
- Participate in maintenance, validation, and engineering projects.
- You have a DEP in electromechanics, industrial mechanics, or other relevant training.
- You have at least 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role within a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, food, or chemical company.
- You are comfortable in an environment where quality and traceability are central to the way things are done (GMP, ISO, etc.).
- You know how to adapt your priorities and approach each task with the same precision, whether it’s installing a frame or repairing high‑tech equipment.
- You have skills in carpentry, general wall repairs, painting is an asset.
- You are familiar with the CMMS Blue Mountain, SAP, and Master Control systems.
- You have a good understanding of mechanical systems.
- You are available to work during the day.
- Knowledge of French is required for positions permanently located in Quebec to communicate with colleagues and suppliers.
- Another language is required for this position to communicate with partners and colleagues predominantly located outside Quebec.
