Electromechanic

Under the supervision of the Operations Director, the Service Technician is responsible for the upkeep and preventive maintenance of equipment. He ensures the quality and safety control of compressors.

• Determine and prepare the equipment needed to travel to customer sites;
• Inform customers of work being performed on equipment;
• Ensure that supplies are available to complete projects;
• Ensure maintenance and servicing of equipment and compressors;
• Repair parts, change oil, clean filters, and replace ball bearings;
• Perform electrical diagnostics and high-temperature oil leaks;
• Complete work orders for work performed on the computer;
• Ensure a rapid response to emergency calls at customer sites;
• Participate in maintaining company quality standards;
• Work with the team to ensure the exchange of information and knowledge;
• Collaborate and provide support to coworkers;
• Participate in weekly team meetings;
• Maintain good interpersonal relationships with coworkers and customers;
• Occasionally ensure the timely delivery of goods to customers;
• Maintain the company's rolling stock (trucks);
• Perform any other related tasks.

• DEP (Diploma of Professional Studies) in industrial mechanics or electromechanics;
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position;
• Knowledge of the compressed air sector (an asset);
• Hold a valid driver's license;
• Functional bilingualism in French and English (reading technical documentation)
• Be independent and able to work without much supervision;
• Ability to manage priorities and ensure effective time management;
• Good manual dexterity.

Salary: $30.00 to $35.00 per hour
