Selection process

It includes, among other things, a pre-selection inventory, an interview, a psychometric assessment, a security clearance, a medical examination, and a comprehensive file analysis.

The ideal profile for us

• Be a Canadian citizen;
• Not have been found guilty, anywhere, of an act or omission described as an offense by the Criminal Code;
• Hold a valid class 4A driver's license or be in the process of obtaining it;
• Be a graduate of the initial patrol-gendarmerie training program (PFIPG) from the École nationale de police du Québec (ÉNPQ) or have obtained an equivalence from the ÉNPQ, or be in the 3rd year of the Police Techniques program.

• Starting salary: $66,502.12 including a base salary of $62,502 per year and a metropolitan urban security premium of $4,000.12

• Seniority bonus of 2.2% of salary after 7 years of service
