As the Lead Full-Stack Developer, you will contribute to Laura’s success by driving the development and integration of modern, scalable and user-friendly digital experiences. You will play a key role in building and optimizing web applications, storefronts, and custom features using React, Jinja, HTML/CSS with Tailwind, and Liquid for Shopify
.
This role combines frontend excellence, templating expertise, and full-stack adaptability
, ensuring seamless integration between design, development, and business requirements. As a technical leader, the individual will guide frontend integration efforts, ensure code quality, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and efficient digital solutions
How will you support the team?
- Lead the implementation of responsive, performant, and accessible frontend interfaces.
- Develop and maintain applications using React.js and reusable component libraries.
- Integrate backend services and templates using Jinja and other server-side rendering tools.
- Customize and extend Shopify storefronts using the Liquid templating language
. - Implement pixel-perfect designs with HTML, CSS, and Tailwind CSS
. - Collaborate with Designers, Developers, and Product Managers to align technical execution with business goals.
- Mentor junior developers and uphold coding best practices, performance optimization, and clean architecture

- College or bachelor’s degree in Programming, Design, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong experience with templating engines
:
Jinja (Python-based) and Liquid (Shopify) - Expert knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, Tailwind CSS
, and responsive design methodologies - Experience with eCommerce platforms, especially Shopify and headless CMS integrations, being an asset.
- Familiarity with backend frameworks and APIs for full-stack integration
- Strong understanding of Bitbucket workflows
, CI/CD pipelines, and modern development practices - Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and optimization skills
- Leadership qualities: ability to guide teams, conduct code reviews, and enforce best practices.
