K is looking for a Chief Technical Advisor - Clean Ammonia & Hydrogen (CAH) to work in our Leatherhead office.
Responsibilities- Perform process technology related engineering works and mentor junior staff, lead project teams and ensure compliance with quality, timeline, and costs.
- Lead new technology due diligence and development.
- Participate/lead in the development of proposals and design packages for K Clean Ammonia & Hydrogen licensed technologies, including establishing process design basis, development of process options, and optimization of selected design.
- Participate/lead assessment and development of new emerging technologies, and develop the strategic roadmap for CAH short/mid/long term.
- Perform detailed process design calculations and develop process design simulations.
- Lead project kick‑off meetings, PFD/P&, or other client‑facing meetings as necessary.
- Act as process advisor in start‑up and commissioning activities.
- Maintain effective communication with project team members, sales team, and technology leadership.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Strong commitment to Zero Harm and company HSSE policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate commitment to compliance with all laws, regulations and corporate policies ensuring the highest of ethics in business conduct, including but not limited to K ’s Code of Business Conduct, FCPA, ITCO and other relevant anti‑corruption policies.
- Degree in Chemical Engineering.
- Relevant experience in Ammonia / Syngas and related process design (process designs, FEED, field work), with Ammonia experience.
- Solid knowledge of Chemical Engineering disciplines, process design tools and procedures.
- Experience in Process Simulation Software such as Aspen Plus™.
- Ability to perform under pressure and work on multiple projects concurrently.
- Ability to travel and go on field assignments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Operational experience is desirable.
