• Running the tax provision work for the UK group.
• Preparing UK corporation tax returns for the UK Corporate Tax Manager’s review.
• Supporting the UK Group’s R&D tax credit process.
• Interacting with internal colleagues in financial accounting, legal and other global tax team members on a regular basis.
• Owning management of withholding tax compliance obligations and related double tax treaty applications.
• Maintaining cash tax forecast reporting for the region.
• Supporting peers on a variety of tax advisory and project work.
• Managing tax project activity as appropriate.
• Supporting the tax reporting and compliance processes for European jurisdictions.
• Supporting the review of tax systems, policies and processes, including consideration of SOX requirements, SAO etc.

• Relevant number of years’ experience working in corporate tax.
• Familiarity with Tax Accounting concepts.
• Able to discuss tax technical matters in plain language.
• Well organized and can manage own time effectively.
• Inquisitive and analytical approach.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced global environment.

• Tax reporting experience, ideally including US GAAP tax reporting experience.
• Experience of Corporate Tax Compliance and the Thomson Reuters Onesource software platforms.
• Experience in interrogating a General Ledger system.
• Experience using MS Dynamics and the MS Power applications.

CTA, ACA qualified or equivalent.
