Head of Underwriting Operations - Specialist Combined

Q Underwriting (part of PIB Group) is seeking a dynamic proven leader to drive the day-to-day management, development, and success of our Specialist Combined business. You'll oversee operational and underwriting performance, delivering on financial, customer, product, and governance objectives.

• To lead and inspire managers and teams to deliver business results and a high-performance culture.
• Drive income generation through broker service, new business, and renewals.
• Work closely with the MGU to ensure underwriting performance meets carrier expectations and support new product development.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external partners.
• Translate strategic plans into actionable goals and priorities.
• Champion customer and broker interests, delivering excellent service and meeting Consumer Duty standards.
• Hold delegated responsibility for Customer Service, Product Governance, Training & Competence, and Wholesale Sales, ensuring regulatory compliance and good customer outcomes.
