The Role We are seeking a commercially astute and hands-on Financial Controller to lead our finance function and support strategic decision-making across the business. This is a pivotal role, offering the opportunity to shape financial processes, drive performance, and partner with operational teams to deliver business success.

Key Responsibilities Oversee all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and reporting. Lead the preparation of monthly management accounts and year-end statutory accounts. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls. Manage relationships with auditors, banks, and external stakeholders. Provide financial insight and analysis to support strategic planning and operational efficiency. Lead and develop a small finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

About You Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with proven experience in a similar role, ideally within agriculture, FMCG, or manufacturing. Strong technical accounting skills and commercial acumen. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Proficient in financial systems and Excel; experience with Xero or similar ERP systems is desirable. Ability to work on-site in Ledbury and engage with operational teams. Why Join Us?
