Senior Quantity Surveyor
Location:
Leeds or Birmingham office base, covering Aqua clients across the North and Midlands of England (e.g. Northumbrian Water, Yorkshire Water, United Utilities, Severn Trent Water). Must be willing to commute to client offices and sites as required. Permanent, full‑time. Competitive salary plus benefits.
- Responsible for projects from inception to completion.
- Be the focal point of contact for clients and inspire confidence.
- Manage infrastructure projects, preferably using the NEC form of contract.
- Estimating and cost planning.
- Procurement advice.
- Tender documentation completion.
- Contract administration and cost control.
- Cost reporting.
- Final account preparation.
- Attend meetings and undertake site visits.
- Lead multiple projects for clients.
- Other Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management duties as required.
- Liaise with clients and contractors daily to ensure timely communication and information collation.
- NEC3/4 working knowledge.
- Post‑contract experience.
- Project cost management skills with organisational and diligence.
- Water industry or wider utilities experience.
- Working towards MRICS/MCICES.
- Pre‑contract / contract documentation experience.
- Professional membership with RICS.
