This is a great opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a Tier one contractor who specialises in Commercial Offices, Mixed use Developments, Student Accommodation and Data Centres

Our client is looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join them on multiple Construction Projects across Yorkshire. This is a permanent position based in West Yorkshire

Package offered for this Quantity Surveyor role:

• From £55,000 to £80,000 (subject to experience)
• Pension contributions start at 4% and increasing with length of service to a maximum of 7%
• Bonus (depending on performance)
• Bupa health care

Key responsibilities for this Quantity Surveyor role:

• procuring and negotiating contracts with subcontractors and other chosen suppliers/stakeholders
• prepare tenders to ensure clients receive fair, competitive, and accurate bids from contractors
• manage variations to Contracts to maintain Cost Control, ensure Financial Transparency for Clients, and provide a Structured Record of changes to the original scope of work
• perform Reconciliations to compare Costs Incurred with the value of work completed, enabling them to monitor Financial Performance, Forecast Profitability, and Manage Risks
• Using NEC, JCT forms of Contractual Suites

Experience required for this Quantity Surveyor role:

• At least 5 years of experience
• Experience working on commercial, residential, student accommodation or offices
• Experience working on tier one projects or for a tier one contractor
• Experience with JCT, NEC forms of Contract Suites
