Description

DAZN is growing! New sports rights are now being won regularly, new partnerships are being developed weekly and new teams are being built in every location! We're in partnership with Snap Inc. and You Tube to improve the way that you and our customers consume our content. We're developing new and original content in addition to our plethora of live events.

We're streaming all over the world, with millions of subscribers across some of the most popular sporting events from the Champions League final through to the best boxing events.

So that's the sales pitch over! Want to help us with this growth? Come and join our freelance pool! We need people to work with us in our Transmission Team. You can work around your other commitments, as much or as little as you like, and you'll be given full training on the systems we use.

Obviously, you'd need to be close to the office. Freelancers are extensions of our excellent permanent team and are vital in us producing the best possible content to our customer base.

If you are interested in registering your interest for future freelance opportunities, then please share your CV and contact details and we will be in touch if something suitable comes up. If you don't hear from us this time around, then please check back in for future freelancer updates and for permanent roles.

As our new Freelance Broadcast Professional, you’ll have the opportunity to:
  • Execute scheduled live events to ensure exact content is broadcast at the correct time
  • Monitor and quality control all signals in and out of transmission
  • Load, prepare and transmit playout schedules
  • Ensure all scheduled media is available for playout each day and communication with the relevant channels if anything is missing/incorrect (e.g. graphics or production)
  • Provide support of all Transmission services and equipment
  • Pre-empt all possible faults and a resolution plan ready to minimise 'on-air' impact
Ideally (but not essential), you'll have:
  • Solid experience working in transmission
  • Experience working in a live sports environment
  • Operational and technical experience with broadcast automation systems
