JOB PURPOSE/SUMMARY Prepare for and assist (closely support) clinicians, dental students and postgraduate students with care, treatment and management of patients with general and complex dental treatment. Manage the preparation of the clinical areas ensuring a high standard of cleanliness within the department and working to the hospital Infection Control Policy. Communicate with members of the multi‑disciplinary team to facilitate continuity of care and promote effective team working.

Assist with the teaching and supervision of learners and other staff. Respect the dignity and confidentiality of patients. Maintain a high standard of work and professionalism. Take responsibility for own personal development and complete all mandatory training required for the role. All staff are responsible for working with their colleagues to maintain and improve the quality of services provided to our patients and other service users.
