Power Systems Technical Marketing Manager

Power System division supports Schneider Electric mission for a more sustainable world by bringing digital innovation solution in the energy sector.

Within the Power System Strategy and Marketing team, the role of the Segment Marketing Manager is to be the marketing lead for the given segments, researching market landscape and developing go to market strategies.

The role requires analysis and understanding of market conditions, articulating value proposition and offer architecture and the ability to create marketing plans to raise awareness, create demand and generate leads within the target segment(s).

Responsibilities
  • Lead E‑mobility segment strategy – 50%
    • Market Intelligence: understand the dynamics of the EV sector in the UK&I, translate legislation into investment, spot growth opportunities and serve as the face of Schneider Electric with industry alliances.
    • Strategy: work closely with business leaders to develop value propositions and create marketing strategies, collaborate with global counterparts, adapting messaging to local needs.
    • Commercial Champion: provide insight to sales leaders, create tactical campaigns, enable the sales force, monitor pipeline and orders performance.
    • Communication: create and deploy campaigns, drive customer events attendance, co‑create media strategies to reach target audience and personas.
  • Lead Power Systems offer value proposition and prescription for segments not led by Power Systems (Data Centre, Heavy Industry) – 50%
    • Map segment investment trends and ecosystem (market trends, key customers, key opportunities, competitive landscape).
    • Define / adapt offer architecture for the given segment.
    • Create promotion assets and training to support deployment of power systems in the segment.
  • Competitive intelligence: be the SPOC in the team to drive competitive analysis actions, collecting insights on competition positioning and lessons learnt activities.
  • Key contributor to the 3‑year business plan, annual segment ambition setting, and quarterly business performance reviews.
Skills and attributes
  • Strong analytical skills to derive business insights from a wide range of data and information.
  • Dynamic, motivated individual - self‑start and lead ability essential.
  • Strong communication skills to converse with customers, managers, and partners.
Education
  • Electrical Engineering (or technical qualification with focus on Medium Voltage) – Desirable.
