Exchange Engineer

Overview

My client, a high profile government organisation are seeking an experienced Microsoft Exchange Engineer
.

Applicants must have demonstrable experience of providing high level technical expertise and specialist knowledge for Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft Exchange Online in a hybrid environment. They are specifically looking an engineer with detailed technical knowledge of email systems, email security protocols and filtering systems. Experience of automating processes using Power Shell is also essential.

The primary focus of the role is to lead the technical work required to move my clients email filtering system from an on-premises environment to a cloud hosted solution. Expertise in implementing and administering email filtering systems is therefore essential.

• Extensive technical knowledge and experience of Microsoft Exchange server 2016/Microsoft Exchange Online
• High level technical expertise and specialist knowledge for Microsoft 365 services
• Strong experience with configuration, administering, troubleshooting email routing and filtering in Clear Swift Secure Email Gateway or other enterprise level email security gateways (including inbound routes, whitelists, email firewall rules, spam/AV logging/reporting, domain rewrites, recipient verification and mail flow between the internet, Exchange/Exchange Online and the internal mail-relay)
• Experience in analysing domain email activity and deploying SPF, DKIM and DMARC authentication
• Clear Swift Secure Email Gateway
• Windows Server 2012 (R2) & Server 2016
• Microsoft Teams Administration
• Lync Server 2013/Skype for Business Server 2016
