Join Buro Happold for an 8‑week paid summer placement (summer 2026) in structural engineering. You will work with world‑class architects and engineers to design and support innovative, sustainable structures that exceed expectations.

• Apply structural engineering principles and innovation to projects such as the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and other high‑profile works.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver efficient and environmentally responsible solutions.
• Document and communicate design decisions, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client expectations.
• Participate in continuous learning activities and contribute to the firm’s knowledge sharing culture.

• Current student in the penultimate year of a Civil, Structural or Architectural engineering degree.
• Strong enthusiasm for engineering and a desire to shape the built environment.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate ideas clearly.
• Willingness to adapt to flexible and hybrid working arrangements.

• Seniority level: Internship

• Start date: Flexible, most students begin in June or July 2026
• Location: United Kingdom (remote and in‑office available)
• Salary: Paid placement
