Our client is seeking a knowledgeable and driven Legionella Risk Assessor to cover new commercial and public sector client sites. The company is a national outfit, who offer the full range of ACOP L8 compliance services, and can support candidates in rounding out their experience. It would be beneficial to have good access to major travel routes (e.g. M1, A1(M) and / or M62) for easier travel.

Our client can be open minded regarding location of candidates, as projects are spread across the North of England. Salaries on offer are competitive and benefits include: overtime earning potential, company vehicle and pension scheme.

Experience /

Qualifications:

* Proven track record working as a Legionella Risk Assessor

* Must hold the City and Guilds (WMSoc) in Legionella Risk Assessing

* Fully conversant in ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines

* It would be advantageous to have experience with risk assessments on Cooling Towers and Process Systems, but this is not essential

* Flexible to travel in line with company requirements

* Good literacy and numeracy skill level

* Proficient in the use of IT software

The Role:

* Undertaking legionella risk assessments on domestic hot and cold water systems, across a variety of client sites

* Producing detailed risk assessment reports and schematic drawings

* Providing tailored technical advice to clients, highlighting any found risks and steps to remedy

* Ad-hoc water sampling and temperature monitoring

* Working to agreed deadlines and personal targets

* Maintaining strong working relationships with clients

* Keeping up-to-date with any industry legislation changes

* Travelling in line with client needs
