Senior Data Engineer; AWS

Location: Leeds (Hybrid – 2 days on-site)

Salary: up to £60,000

Gravitas is working with a multinational energy company focused on the transition to low‑carbon energy.

Due to continued expansion, we are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our growing data team. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of data‑driven decision‑making within the company.

• Minimum 4 years of data engineering experience
• Strong experience with AWS services (Redshift, Lambda, S3, Glue, Lake Formation)
• Expertise in ETL/ELT development, data warehouse design (Kimball, Lakehouse)
• Proficiency in Python, Apache Spark, SQL, and CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and ability to manage projects effectively
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Hands‑on experience with DBT, Apache Iceberg, Docker (nice to have)
