Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Electrical Engineer / Maintenance Engineer / Control Systems Engineer required to join a global manufacturer of industrial materials and components at their Leeds production facility.

The successful Electrical Engineer will be responsible for supporting plant maintenance, diagnostics, and improvement projects, with a focus on electrical systems, control panels, and automation. This is a hands on engineering role offering long term development in a high tech, process driven manufacturing environment.

You'll have a broad background in electrical engineering with experience in control systems, 3 phase power, VFDs, and PLC based systems. Knowledge of high temperature processes or heavy industry would be advantageous.

• £38,000 - £43,000 depending on experience
• Based in Leeds
• Day shifts, Monday to Friday
• Call out rota (shared across the engineering team)

• Diagnose and resolve faults on manufacturing plant and equipment
• Assist with R&D projects to improve or re engineer production processes
• Contribute to continuous improvement and site development activities
• Perform hands on installation, assembly, and upgrade of electrical systems
• Support both electrical and basic mechanical maintenance tasks

• Experience as an Electrical Engineer / Maintenance Engineer / Controls Engineer or similar
• Strong understanding of control panels, PLCs, motors, VFDs, 3 phase and single phase systems
• Apprentice trained with HNC or equivalent in Electrical Engineering
• Strong analytical and fault finding ability
• Must be commutable to Leeds
