The Opportunity You will provide strategic leadership across large and complex healthcare schemes, ensuring mechanical systems meet stringent clinical, operational, and sustainability requirements.

This is a key role for someone with strong commercial judgement, advanced technical expertise, and the ability to guide project teams and future leaders.

Key Responsibilities Set and lead mechanical design strategy for major healthcare programmes

Act as a senior client partner — presenting solutions, influencing decisions, and guiding project direction

Manage delivery across multi-disciplinary teams with accountability for quality, risk, and commercial performance

Coach associates, seniors, and juniors to strengthen technical capability

Oversee resources, fee performance, and project governance

Drive innovation, modern methods, and competitive technical advantage

Represent engineering direction within the project team and wider stakeholders

What You Need Extensive healthcare-sector mechanical engineering experience

Strong background leading major or highly complex projects

Confident communicator with the ability to influence at senior levels

Deep technical knowledge across HVAC and mechanical building services

Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD and associated tools

Strong commercial and delivery management capability

Excellent understanding of relevant British Standards and sector regulations
