Finance Manager (Revenue & Cost of Sales) - Leeds

This position will play a key role in providing accurate and timelyrevenue and cost of sales accounting and reporting in the UK Processingdivision. You will work with complex data within a key component of the overall P&L and manage key stakeholder relationships across multiple functions within the business.

• Ensure that revenue andcost of sales is correctly accounted for each month across each business within UK Processing
• Ensure that intercompany transactions are correctly recorded, using knowledge of business operations across the UK
• Reviewgross marginand explain variances to budget and KPIs
• Work with the FP&A team to align the accounting and reporting with weekly insight reports,correctly reflecting operational performance
• Investigate and resolve queries and discrepancies, collaborating with the wider finance, IT and Operations teams
• Interrogate the systems(SAGE and Workday accounting systems, AMCS Waste system, BI dashboard) toensure accurate reporting
• Ensure robust accountingof revenue and cost of sales accruals on the balance sheet
• Present monthly resultsto FC, FD and CFO
• Assist with annual budget and external audit in relation to sales and cost of sales
• Assist with embeddingthe new ERP system
• Responsible for management and development of one direct report, Management Accountant

• Fully qualifiedaccountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
• Strong financial controlexperience, both P&L and Balance Sheet
• Proactive approach toresolving queries
• Strong collaborativestyle
• Diligent approach
• Confident communicator
• Experience of working in industry & commerce is preferable
