An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Accountancy Assistant to join our dynamic and busy Finance Team. The role will include a hybrid working arrangement with a combination of home and office working based at White Rose Park, Leeds. This role will be supporting the Finance Manager Income & Central Reporting to help ensure robust and accurate financial management and reporting are completed at all times.
The Financial Management team provides finance support to budget holders across the organisation by providing robust financial reports and quality assured financial information, high‑quality financial advice, with financial management support to Business Units, costing advice, cost information and financial benchmarking information to managers.
The post holder will provide day‑to‑day routine support to the LCH Finance Team. Calculate and input accruals and prepayments in accordance with the internal monthly accounts timetable. Investigate queries from staff, external customers/suppliers and patients, providing assistance and advice in a professional and timely manner. Undertake the Invoice Query Manager (IQM) role for the Trust and act as the first point of contact for queries relating to non‑purchase‑order invoices both internally and externally.
Direct invoices to the correct person for coding and investigate any payment‑related queries. Raise sales orders and support the management of the receivables policy and procedure. Assist with month‑end and annual accounts process, ensuring that proper records are maintained to support the audit of the accounts by the statutory auditor.
